U.S. monetary base
The monetary base of an economy consists of coins, notes and deposits of commercial banks at the central bank. The monetary base is the only thing that can control the central bank directly. The following chart traces the historical course of U.S. monetary base. In the last 2 years this was like a Missile. The Fed has to be at a loss to make such a historically unprecedented measure
